Conference – Dr. Ismet Ugursal (Dalhousie University / Canada) – Energy and Human Development
On Friday, November 6th, at 5:00 PM in the Iris Bergero Room (UARG Campus, 1st floor), Dr. Ismet Ugursal (Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada) will give a lecture on his vision of the future of energy supply and demand and human development. Professor Ugursal has worked on this topic for several decades, and his research is valuable for our work at the Alternative Energies Area and Research Project 29/A543. His presentation will be of interest to professionals and students, particularly those in the Chemical Engineering and Natural Resources Engineering programs. The lecture will be given in English, but with subtitles in spanish and translation support for questions provided by members of the AEA (Area Energías Alternativas). It is organized and supported by the Academic Secretariat and the Academic Outreach Office (Vinculación Académica) of UNPA-UARG, coinciding with Dr. Ugursal's visit to our University. During his visit, he will also meet with university authorities and tour the campus facilities.
