Recently from August 8 to 12 we were part of the lecture staff of the on-line Wind Energy postgraduate update Course organized by Grupo GEMyS -UTN at the Chubut Regional Faculty of UTN (National Technological University) in Puerto Madryn, Chubut, Argentina. Rafael Oliva (AEA) and Esteban Van Dam (Ayres Renovables and 500RPM) were in charge of the classes. A number of technical issues related to electric power production, resource assessment and green hydrogen production for Patagonia were developed. From 24 course participants, 17 obtained the course evaluation certificate, revealing a growing interest in this clean energy source among engineering students and power companies. Chubut is a clear leader in regional wind power production since 2011.
