From 24 to 28/10/2022 the Area Energías Alternativas (AEA) was represented by Rafael Oliva at the third meeting of the REGEDIS/CYTED Network (Small Wind Power for Distributed Generation in Urban Environment) at CIATEQ (Centro de Tecnología Avanzada) in Querétaro, México. The Iberoamerican Program of Science and Technology for Development (CYTED) supports since 2018 the REGEDIS Network meetings, which were suspended due to the pandemic in 2020.
The first day 24/10 a network coordination meeting was held, and 25 and 26 the Technical-Scientific presentations took place, with AEA participating in three of them. 27 y 28/10 were reserved for practical workshops and visits to different components of the enormous CIATEQ complex, related to wind energy development. At the presentation of the active remote sensing paper “Estudio básico, barreras y aspectos de implementación en tecnologías de medición remota para evaluación del recurso eólico” our CONICET scholar Florencia Luna had a much appraised remote intervention as main author. The other papers were related to the SJ24 measurement system at UNPA-UASJ (2) and the third one was presented in cooperation with Marcelo Castello of OES/UTN FRRo, about the dashboard and remote visualization system for the renewable energy supply at the UNPA-UARG educational greenhouse.
