Last October 4th and 5th we participated with AEA of the “Jornadas Internas de Capacitación y Visitas a Parque Eólico Bicentenario de PCR y Planta Experimental de Hidrógeno de Pico Truncado” (Technical workshop and visits to Bicentenario WindPark and Experimental H2 Plant) for engineering students from local UNPA-UACO and neighbour UMAG (Chile), organized by local STEM institute CITEC (Instituto provincial de Ciencia,Tecnología e Innovación), invited by member director Mg. Mabel Herrera.
The visit to Parque Eólico Bicentenario (Jaramillo) (Bicentenario 126 MW Vestas machines wind park), took place with the guide of Ing. Adrián Chiatti (PCR / InSET). At the wind park there was a 30 min briefing by technical personnel, and detailed technical operatios of the park (operating since 2019) were explained. Later a visit to the park, tower bases and transformer substation took place. Later a technical visit to the H2 experimental Plant in Pico Truncado was guided by Mg. Herrera, preparing the academic and experimental activities programmed for the students on the 2nd day .
On the way back, a brief activity / conference at UNPA- UA San Julián on the “Potential for wind power in the production of Hydrogen in Patagonia”, was coordinated and presented by Ing. Rafael Oliva.
